| The draft consists of 10 rounds, with 20 picks in each round. The draft order will alternate each round (whoever receives the #1 pick, determined by the previous season's power rankings, will not pick again until the final pick of the second round, then will pick first again in the third round). Starting March 1st, there is a single round of the draft held each day for 10 days. Prior to each round of the draft, each owner will need to submit a draft list - the list of players they would like to select in that round (and in the order they would like them). Because there are exactly 200 players chosen in the draft, an owner could create their entire draft list (of their 200 prospective players) in advance of the draft beginning. If an owner does not submit a draft list, or if all players on their current list are already selected prior to their pick, that owner will receive the highest ranked available player remaining in the draft (based on their previous year's scoring total, AND, depending on the owner's current roster needs and limits). Once the draft is complete, each owner must have a full, legal roster (including their franchise players, rookies, and minor leaguers selected in the off-season). After completing the draft and until Opening Day, each owner is free to make trades and roster moves free of charge; however, once the season officially begins, all regular fees go into effect.
